Leigh A. Fisher, project director for student support services, and Jane A. Cape, dean of business and applied technologies, have announced their plans to retire from Clark State Community College effective February 1, 2015.

Leigh A. Fisher began her career at Clark State in the admissions office as a counselor June 10, 1985, and after successfully serving students in various roles, was promoted in 2001 to project director for student support services through the federally-funded TRIO grant. Fisher will retire from Clark State with almost 30 years of outstanding service.

Jane Cape was hired by Clark State July 1, 1994, as the assistant dean of business technologies and was promoted to dean of business and applied technologies in 1998. Cape received numerous awards and honors throughout her career including one of the highest recognition awards by her peers, the President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in 1999. Jane leaves the College after 20 years of dedicated service.

“Leigh Fisher and Jane Cape have served Clark State admirably, and they will be missed.  At the core of their work was a commitment to student success, and we hope to carry on their legacies,” said Clark State President Dr. Jo Alice Blondin.
