Vice President for Business Affairs Devillier Leaves Clark State

October 4, 2017

John Devillier, Clark State Community College’s vice president for business affairs, has resigned from his position. He began his position in June 2017.

Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, Clark State president, praised the work that John had done in the short time he was with Clark State. “John had made progress on many fronts in a short time, including improvements to new employee orientation, contract review and prioritizing deferred maintenance projects. We enjoyed working with him and wish him the very best.”

Larry Wakefield, the former interim vice president for business affairs, will be returning to Clark State this month and will work as the interim vice president for business affairs through June 2018.  Later this fall, a search committee will be formed to look for a permanent replacement.

“I feel that we have gained as a result of having had John as part of the team,” said Dr. Blondin. “We have an excellent team at Clark State. Larry Wakefield will provide us with leadership in the business affairs area while we conduct the search.”
