International Baccalaureate Credit

Get Ahead with International Baccalaureate Credit!

Your International Baccalaureate experience has already set you apart. At Clark State, we’ll help you turn that momentum into progress toward your degree and your future!

We recognize the rigor and global perspective of IB coursework. Based on your exam performance and subject area, you may be eligible to earn college credit—helping you start at a higher academic level, reduce the number of classes you need to graduate and stay on track toward your academic and career goals.

To be considered for IB credit:

  1. Request your official IB transcript through the IB organization
  2. Select Clark State as a recipient
  3. Allow time for scores to be received and evaluated

Scores are reviewed after they are received and processing times may vary. If your scores are not yet available at orientation, your academic advisor will help guide your course selection based on your IB experience. Credit is generally considered for Higher Level  exam scores, while Standard Level exams may not qualify. Because credit awards vary by program and academic department, not all IB exams have direct course equivalents at Clark State.

Clark State awards course credit based on the minimum scores as indicated below.
