Tuition includes physical, drug screen, CDL permit, test and license fees and training materials. Financial aid (FAFSA) is not available for this program, however, financial assistance may be available.
Overview
Are you ready to hit the road and start a high-demand career behind the wheel? The CDL Class A weekday program prepares you for real-world driving through classroom instruction, state-of-the-art driving and shifting simulators and extensive hands-on road and range experience. You’ll learn essential topics like vehicle inspections, trip planning, defensive driving and industry regulations before building practical skills through pre-trip inspections, backing maneuvers, coupling and uncoupling and driving on city, county, state and interstate highways.
The weekday program runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with small class sizes that allow for individualized instruction and support as you prepare for your commercial driver’s license. Complete the CDL Interest Form to get started today!
Clark State's Commercial Transportation Training Center is a state-approved CDL Testing site certified by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Free practice tests are available through the Ohio BMV at CristCDL.
Applicants must be age 21 or older, have a valid driver’s license and a CDL temporary permit issued at least 14 days before testing.
