Overview

Ready to start a commercial driving career that puts you behind the wheel fast? The CDL class B training program provides you with 80 hours of instruction, including 40 hours in the classroom and 40 hours of hands-on road and range training. You’ll learn essential skills such as pre-trip inspections, parallel parking, alley docking, straight-line backing and reverse lane changes. Over-the-road training prepares you for real driving conditions on city, county, state and interstate routes, with class B testing completed on the final day of the program. Clark State's Commercial Transportation Training Center is a state-approved CDL Testing site certified by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Testing Fees & Payments:

Free practice tests are available through the Ohio BMV at CristCDL.

Applicants must be age 21 and older, have a valid driver’s license and a CDL temporary permit issued at least 14 days before testing.
