Overview

What if you could turn your curiosity about the planet into a degree that helps you understand — and protect — the world beneath your feet? The geology pathway of the associate of science builds a strong mix of chemistry, physics, math and earth science to prepare you for transfer into a bachelor’s program in geology or earth sciences. You’ll gain skills for fields like environmental cleanup, mineral and energy exploration, mining or K-12 education, all through coursework that strengthens problem-solving, critical thinking and scientific reasoning.
