Overview

Eager to build hands-on skills for a career in horticulture and the green industry? The horticultural industry program prepares you with the hands-on skills and technical knowledge needed for success across the green industry. With access to a dedicated land lab—including greenhouse facilities, campus grounds and even a one-hole golf course—you’ll gain practical experience maintaining landscapes, identifying plants, managing turfgrass and operating industry tools and equipment. Through specialized electives, you can tailor your path in areas such as golf course operations, landscape design, natural resources, nursery operations or turf and landscape operations. Whether you’re interested in designing outdoor spaces, managing turf systems, caring for nursery crops or maintaining natural and built landscapes, this program provides the applied training you need to launch a rewarding horticulture career.
