Overview

How can you turn your passion for helping others into a degree that creates a meaningful impact? The social services pathway builds your foundation in psychology, sociology, social welfare and cultural awareness while preparing you to transfer into a bachelor’s program in social work. You’ll study social systems, examine issues affecting individuals and families and strengthen your communication and problem-solving skills with a clear path to Ohio’s public universities. This pathway is designed for transfer rather than immediate employment.  If you're looking for job-ready training now, the social work assistant associate degree may be the better fit.
