Starting at Clark State is a smart, affordable way to begin your bachelor’s degree. Whether you plan to complete your first two years here or earn an associate degree before moving on, our transfer pathways, dedicated advisors and strong partnerships with four-year colleges and universities, we make it easy to take the next step!

Clark State offers associate degrees designed to help you transfer smoothly to any Ohio four-year college or university, unless otherwise noted. Programs are structured to maximize transferability of credits to help you continue your education toward a bachelor’s degree. Choose a program that aligns with your goals! 

By working  closely with your Clark State advisor and the staff at your transfer school, you’ll receive credit for most of your courses at your prospective transfer school. Keep in mind, though, the final decision is up to the transfer institution. To maximize transferability:

• Decide on your intended transfer college or university as early as possible.
• Select your prospective major early in your academic program.
• Request a catalog from your prospective transfer institution and review admissions policies, scholarship deadlines and degree requirements.
• Work closely with your Clark State advisor each semester to select appropriate courses. 
• complete at least 60 credit hours that meet Clark State’s degree requirements for an associate of arts or associate of science degree
