Workforce Training at Clark State!

Clark State Workforce trainings offer credentials and certificates designed to strengthen employee skill sets through targeted professional development. These courses are for professional credit and serve as a step toward job placement, promotions and higher degrees.

Funding options include:

  • Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

  • Ohio TechCred is a state-sponsored workforce development program that reimburses employers up to $2,000 for each technology-focused credential earned by their employees, with a maximum reimbursement of $30,000 per employer per funding round. It aims to upskill Ohio's workforce in high-tech fields — such as advanced manufacturing, IT and cybersecurity — by helping businesses pay for short-term, industry-recognized training. TechCred funding is anticipated to be available in July 2026. Eligible business or individual students can apply here.
