At Clark State, we know that meeting your basic needs is essential for success in school and life. From food and clothing to technology support, we offer confidential resources to help you stay focused, prepared and confident!
Clothing Closet
The Office of Student Support offers a clothing closet with free coats, everyday clothing and professional attire for interviews or employment. Open to all Clark State students, no proof of income is required! You can find the clothing closet is at the Springfield Main Campus, Rhodes Hall, room 215.
Food and Supply Assistance
Students, and all community members, are welcome to visit our food pantry, where food, school supplies and hygiene products are available at no cost. The food pantry is open from 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Springfield Main Campus, Rhodes Hall, room 215.
Our Beavercreek location also offers a Mobile Food Pantry on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. in the back parking lot. Visitors should bring their own bags or boxes. No proof of income is needed and food is distributed according to household size.
Technology Support
Do you need a laptop for schoolwork or to stay connected with your instructors? Clark State offers a Laptop Loaner Program for students participating in SNAP Employment and Training.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Live in Champaign, Clark, Green, Logan or Montgomery counties
- Be enrolled in a degree or certificate program that aligns with an in-demand occupation
- Currently receive SNAP benefits (cash, food or medical) or be eligible to receive SNAP benefits
How to Apply:
- Submit an Office of Student Support Referral Form and indicate that you are requesting laptop assistance.
- You will be contacted by the Student Support team with next steps.
- If you are not currently receiving SNAP benefits, complete the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Application and upload it with your Student Support Referral Form.
IT Help Center
If you having trouble logging in, accessing email or using Blackboard or myClarkState Portal, our IT Help Center can help you quickly resolve common technology issues, including, password resets, account access problems, email troubleshooting and more! Ask for help.
