Overview

Dreaming of a career where you can help young children learn, grow and thrive every day? The early childhood education program prepares you to work with infants through school-age children in child care centers, preschools, hospitals, group homes and other child-focused settings. The program combines coursework in child development, curriculum, health and safety, literacy, creativity and educational psychology with 300 hours of supervised field experience, giving you valuable hands-on practice in real classrooms. By graduation, you’ll be ready to support young children’s learning, development and well-being and step confidently into a rewarding career shaping the next generation.

Accredited: The Early Childhood Education program is approved by the Ohio Department of Education for Pre-Kindergarten Associate Certification.
