Overview

What if you could expand your emergency care impact by adding paramedic-level expertise on top of your nursing foundation? Clark State’s paramedic for registered nurses certification provides an accelerated path to master the full paramedic curriculum for experienced RNs. You’ll leverage your background in emergency or critical care as you strengthen rapid assessment skills, sharpen decision-making in high-acuity situations and advance through clinical and theory requirements built for real-world EMS practice. With required certifications such as EMT-basic and BLS/ACLS/PALS, you’ll be prepared to meet the demands of fast-paced emergency response.

The paramedic program is accredited by the Ohio Department of Public Safety Services, Division of Emergency Medical Services and by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education programs.
