Overview
Can you envision yourself in a clinical role where your care truly shapes every patient visit? The clinical medical assisting certificate prepares you to enter the workforce with the knowledge and skills to support physicians and nurses, perform essential procedures, manage exam rooms, handle specimens and provide meaningful patient education. It also offers a pathway for non-credentialed medical assistants already working in the field to gain the formal training needed to qualify for national certification through the National Health Career Association or stack this certificate into Clark State’s medical assisting associate degree.
Note: Space is limited in this program. In addition to applying to Clark State, students must also apply to this program. Please meet with your advisor to ensure all requirements are met.
