Overview

How far could you go by expanding your skills in cardiac imaging? The cross-training echocardiography certificate is designed for credentialed sonographers who want to add expertise in echocardiography. You’ll build knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathology while learning to perform echocardiograms that help physicians diagnose and monitor heart conditions. Instruction combines online coursework with hands-on lab experience, preparing you to confidently apply advanced imaging skills in a clinical setting.

Note: Space is limited in this program. In addition to applying to Clark State, students must also apply to this program. Approval is required for program admission. Students must be employed as a sonographer and hold an active credential with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or be a registered vascular specialist with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International for admittance to the program. Completion of this certificate does not guarantee eligibility for echocardiography credentialing.
