Looking to advance your firefighting skills? The firefighter II certificate builds upon the firefighter I certificate to meet the NFPA 1001 Standard for career firefighters, focusing on advanced tactics and real-world applications. In this 104-hour program, you will deepen your expertise in ventilation, fire control, rope rescue and auto machinery extrication while gaining a comprehensive understanding of fire prevention and public education. The curriculum also includes fire alarms and communications, hose appliances and streams, foam fire systems, rescue techniques, fire detection and more, with extensive live fire experience.
Accredited: The Firefighter program is accredited by the Ohio Department of Public Safety Services, Division of Fire Services.
