Overview

Have you ever considered transforming your lived experience into a career that lifts others up? The peer support, addiction and recovery certificate helps you build on Ohio’s peer recovery support certification by adding the addiction-focused coursework needed to move toward the chemical dependency counselor assistant credential. You’ll strengthen your understanding of substance use disorders, assessment, treatment strategies, group dynamics and cultural competence while creating a clear bridge into the addiction and recovery services associate degree or the social work assistant associate degree

Note: In addition to applying to Clark State, students must also apply to this certificate program
