Overview

Ready to train for the moment when a single image can change a patient’s diagnosis? The radiographic imaging pathway, offered through the Northwest Ohio Allied Health Education Consortium, lets you complete your general education at Clark State while taking your technical radiography courses online with Rhodes State. With clinical placements reserved for Clark State students, you build the skills to safely use radiation to capture high-quality diagnostic images across body systems. When you finish, you earn an associate degree from Rhodes State and qualify to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists exam.

Clark State’s Radiographic Imaging program is offered through the Northwest Ohio Allied Health Education Consortium, a partnership with Rhodes State College that provides Clark State students access to an associate degree in radiography. Students complete general education coursework at Clark State — online or on campus — while technical courses are delivered by Rhodes State faculty in an online format. Students travel to the Rhodes State campus in Lima approximately once per week for hands-on labs. Clinical experiences are completed at regional healthcare facilities. Clinical seats within the consortium are reserved for qualified Clark State students living in the college’s service area.

The technical phase begins each fall semester in August and seats are limited. Applicants must be admitted to both Clark State and Rhodes State and indicate they are applying through the Northwest Ohio Allied Health Education Consortium as a Clark State student. Early submission of all qualification materials is strongly encouraged to secure a seat.
