Overview

Are you looking for a high-impact respiratory care career with a pathway designed around your life? The respiratory care program — offered through the Northwest Ohio Allied Health Education Consortium — lets you complete your general education on while taking technical courses taught by Rhodes State faculty. You’ll head to Rhodes State one day a week for hands-on labs, build real-world experience in regional clinical sites. This streamlined pathway equips you to support physicians, manage life-support equipment, perform breathing tests and deliver inhaled medications, preparing you to pursue national credentials as a certified or registered respiratory therapist.

Clark State’s Radiographic Imaging program is offered through the Northwest Ohio Allied Health Education Consortium, a partnership between Clark State College and Rhodes State College that expands access to in-demand healthcare careers. Students complete general education coursework at Clark State — online or on campus — while technical radiography courses are delivered by Rhodes State faculty through a combination of distance learning, in-person labs in Lima, and supervised clinical experiences at regional healthcare facilities.

This collaborative pathway prepares graduates for entry-level radiologic technology careers and eligibility to pursue national credentialing. Students must be apply to both Clark State and Rhodes State and indicate they are applying through the Northwest Ohio Allied Health Education Consortium as a Clark State student.
