Clinical Medical Assisting Short-Term Certificate Petition

Petitioning is the process where students request entry into the technical (MAS) courses in the Clinical Medical Assisting Short-Term Certificate program.

Students should only petition after they have met requirements in math, writing, reading and grade point average. Detailed information about these requirements is listed in the petition form.

Students must apply online to Clark State College before they can petition for entry into the MAS courses. Admission to the College does not guarantee entry into the MAS courses.

Students must provide documentation of having worked as a medical assistant for a minimum of one year. Documentation is to be submitted to the School of Health, Human and Public Services office, Applied Science Center, Room 133.
