Scholarships are awarded for financial need, academic performance or a specific program of study to both full-time and part-time students. Scholarships do not have to be repaid. Clark State College offers a variety of scholarship opportunities for students.

We are proud to offer a reduced tuition rate to all active military personnel in the state of Ohio. In order to be eligible for the discounted tuition, you must present active orders to the Clark State Cashiers Office.

  • All active duty personnel receive a 50% reduced tuition rate.
  • Active duty spouses receive a 50% reduced tuition rate.

If you have served in the United States military, Selected Reserve or National Guard, financial assistance for college may be available. An academic advisor specializing in educational benefits for veterans will assist students who qualify for this type of assistance to cover the expense of college tuition.

Do you want to make money while going to school? The College offers valuable part-time employment for our students through our Work-Study Program! Positions are competitive, so do your best to be thorough on your application, especially regarding your skills and how you can be helpful and effective in the position that you are seeking. Check out the two types of work-study positions we offer!

College is about a lot more than just attending classes. It's about making new friends and being an active part of activities on campus. From academic honors to athletics and community service, groups have been established by students to ignite learning, find new circles of friends and give back to the community.
