Reverse Transfer

Earn Your Degree with Reverse Transfer

Are you a former Clark State student who left Clark State before earning your degree, and you have attended and earned credits from another two-year or four-year institution?

If so, you may be eligible to be awarded your Associate Degree at Clark State by transferring your remaining course requirements back to Clark State from another institution.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Have earned a minimum of 15 semester hours of your academic program from Clark State.
  • Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher earned at Clark State.

What to Expect

Once we receive your transcript(s), they will be thoroughly reviewed to determine if you have fulfilled the requirements for an Associate Degree from Clark State. Often, we find that you may meet requirements for another degree other than the degree you were seeking while at Clark State.  The most common degrees awarded through Reverse Transfer are the Associate of Arts-General Transfer degree or the Associate of Science-General Transfer degree.

If you have met the degree requirements through this review, you will be notified with the details regarding your degree. If the review finds you have not yet met the requirements, you will be informed as to what requirements are not completed.
