Community Conversation with Dr. Blondin
President Dr. Jo Alice Blondin will host a virtual “Community Conversation” for community members from 10 - 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, April 28.
Community members who participate in the Community Conversation can expect to learn about Clark State’s move to an online environment, donations of personal protective equipment (PPE), tentative plans for phased reopening, impact to the Performing Arts Center, deployment of resources to help students, and ongoing initiatives at Clark State, such as strategic planning and program development.
Blondin said Clark State is operating under the following principles:
- Providing a safe and healthy work and learning environment
- Demonstrating transparency and consistency in decision-making
- Communicating dates, expectations, data, and any changes to these areas
- Ensuring flexibility in timelines as needed
- Leading through the Board of Trustees, administrators, faculty, and staff to focus on our mission
“We receive more information every day about this new world that has developed in light of COVID-19,” said Blondin. “Clark State will be as prepared and flexible as possible, while still safely delivering a quality education to our students.”
