Clark State to Hold Enrollment Events, Give Away Scholarships

October 12, 2022

Clark State College will hold a series of special enrollment events for the Spring 2023 semester. Priority spring registration begins Monday, October 17 and open spring registration begins Tuesday, October 18. The events will be open to current and prospective students interested in furthering their education at Clark State.

Clark State will also award three, $1,000 scholarships by raffle for any continuing student that registers by Friday, December 9.

“We want to encourage early enrollment for all students,” said Dr. Travis Binkley, dean of enrollment services at Clark State. “It helps students get the courses they want and the times they need to be successful in class with their already busy schedule. It also gives us more time to work with students on payment options and preparing for the following semester. All around, we want our students to be successful and these are incentives to help them be just that: successful.

Binkley said enrollment events will continue on Wednesdays through the fall semester that are perfect for new, continuing, and returning students to complete the enrollment process for spring.

“We are doing specific outreach to the new and returning students to promote the events, and all are welcome to attend,” he said. “We will be doing a $500 scholarship raffle for those that attend the events.”

Applications for scholarships through the Clark State Foundation are open through October 30 and can found online at: https://clarkstate.academicworks.com/
