Clark State to Host CyberSecurity Awareness Day

January 24, 2019

Clark State Community College will host a CyberSecurity Awareness Day on Friday, January 25 at the Beavercreek location, 3775 Pentagon Boulevard; and on Friday, February 1 at the Springfield campus, 570 East Leffel Lane in LRC Security National Bank Community Rooms 207/209.

Clark State faculty, staff, students and high school students will learn about career opportunities and possible internships in the field of cybersecurity.

“Local high school students and current Clark State students will also learn about our partnerships with Wright State, Franklin and Western Governor's Universities,” said Charmaine Misick, success coach at Clark State. “They will learn about the career itself and job opportunities.”

Misick said Clark State expects at least 100 students from Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center, Greene County Career Center and Shawnee High School.

Both events will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Registration for the event on February 1 is open until Wednesday, January 30. Contact Charmaine Misick at misickc@clarkstate.edu or 937.328.6479 to register. There is no cost to attend.
