Clark State Performing Arts Center Executive Director Adele Adkins to Participate on Elite National Panel, Discuss Arts in the Wake of COVID-19

Adele Adkins, executive director of the Clark State Performing Arts Center (PAC), will participate on an elite national panel of performing arts center experts in a Facebook Live discussion. The panel of performing arts center experts will be live on Facebook at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 27. The panel will discuss plans for the return of live entertainment shows such as theater and concerts as the country begins to gradually reopen in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Clark State COVID Country Concert with Country Star Wyatt McCubbin

Clark State Community College will host a summer concert on Saturday, June 13 with country sensation Wyatt McCubbin and special guests from Nashville. The COVID Country Concert will be held in the parking lot of the Sara T. Landess Technology and Learning Center on Clark State’s main campus in Springfield. Tickets are $25 per vehicle and must be purchased in advance.

Clark State Workforce & Business Solutions will be offering a six-part, self-paced course on contact tracing as local businesses return to work with modified operations. The specialized training will be offered in an online format to anyone who is interested in learning the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protocols for proper contact tracing of the COVID-19 virus.
