Clark State College was awarded the Torch Award for Ethics by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving Dayton and the Miami Valley

The awards honor organizations whose leaders demonstrate a high level of personal character; ensure the organizations’ practices meet the highest standards of ethics; and consequently, generate trust with customers and the community. The Torch Award embodies BBB’s mission of advancing business trust.

“Clark State operates with the highest level of ethics to serve our students and the community,” said Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, president of Clark State. “This award validates our practices and guiding principles. We are honored to share this award with our Board, faculty, staff, and students.”

John North, BBB president & CEO, said in a past statement that the Torch Awards for Ethics recognizes organizations for their ethics and integrity unlike any other award in the community. They focus on the character, culture, customers and community of Miami Valley organizations.
