Blondin Receives Legislative Commendation

September 27, 2016

Clark State Community College President Dr. Jo Alice Blondin received a legislative commendation for being selected as president-elect for the National Council for Workforce Education (NCWE).

Representative Rick Perales presented Blondin with the commendation on a recent visit to Clark State’s Beavercreek campus. The commendation honors Blondin for her continuing efforts to prepare and educate students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become productive members of the workforce.

Blondin recognizes how education and training must respond to the ever changing needs of business and industry. The ability to swiftly adapt to those changes is an essential component of a stronger workforce.

"I appreciate Representatives Perales and Koehler for recognizing me with this honor. Both legislators are focused on workforce and are very interested in the policy discussions that the National Council for Workforce Education enables," said Blondin.

Blondin served as vice president for programs and regional director for NCWE prior to being selected as president-elect.
