Clark State Community College and CareSource have partnered for the first time to host a Fall Career Fair on Thursday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Clark State hosts an annual Fall Career Fair for its students and alumni, but this year the college has partnered with CareSource and is opening the event to the public. There will be 32 registered employers seeking employees for more than 100 positions.

“We are excited to partner with CareSource and offer such a great event to the local community,” said Melody Gast, career services coordinator at Clark State. “Employer partnerships are valuable to the college and to student success.”

Gast said many of the employers plan to offer on-site interviews. Job seekers are encouraged to “dress for success” and bring plenty of resumes to the event.

“We are honored to have companies like Premier Physician Network, Speedway LLC, Assurant, Wright Patterson Air Force Base and Mercy Health attend this event and look forward to connecting them with qualified employees,” said Gast.

OIC of Clark County, CareSource and OhioMeansJobs Clark County will also be at the event to promote available services for the community.

The Fall Career Fair will be held at the Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts and Conference Center, 275 South Limestone Street in downtown Springfield. Admission is free.
