Clark State Athletic Complex will Receive Facelift, Updates to Technology

February 26, 2020

The Clark State Eagles athletic teams will soar into a newly updated facility for the 2020-21 sports seasons. The scoreboards will be replaced in April of this year, and a new gymnasium floor design will begin May 18.

“I believe our athletic department is moving in the right direction, and it is fun to watch the growth of our programs,” said Justin McCulla, director of athletics and student life. “I am thrilled to announce the renovations in the gym that serves as the home for Eagles volleyball and basketball.”

The flooring and scoreboards are original to when the complex was built in 1974. Colors and logos will be updated, as will scoreboard technology.

McCulla said across the board, Clark State has been more competitive, and the administration is investing into the athletic department. He is excited about the investment into Clark State athletics and hopes to attract more student athletes.
