The Clark State Community College – Springfield Regional School of Nursing will hold pinning ceremonies for more than 70 graduating nurses who have completed their programs of study at the conclusion of fall semester. The pinning ceremony for registered nursing students will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at 6 p.m. at the Clark State Performing Arts Center; 73 registered nursing students will be honored at this event.
The pinning ceremony for the practical nursing students was held Monday, May 1, 2017, at 6 p.m. at the Clark State Performing Arts Center; 26 practical nursing students were honored during this ceremony.
“We are extremely pleased to recognize our graduating nursing students as they enter the nursing profession,” said Gwen Stevenson, director of nursing programs for Clark State. “They are well-prepared to provide excellent care to those in our community and beyond. They’ve demonstrated their ability to be caring, critical thinkers who will contribute to the nursing profession and the health of our community.”
The registered nursing program can be completed at Clark State’s Springfield campus. The practical nursing program can also be completed at Clark State’s Springfield campus as well as at the Bellefontaine campus at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. Both nursing programs have daytime and evening/weekend enrollment options.
