Clark State Enrollment Increase Expected to Continue

March 3, 2017

Clark State Community College has seen a three percent increase in enrollment over this same time last year. The College expects enrollment to continue to increase with the start of Spring B term on March 13. The Spring Semester 2017 headcount is currently 6,394.

“Our Spring B term offers greater flexibility for our students who juggle coursework and personal responsibilities,” said Nina Wiley, dean of enrollment for Clark State. “The accelerated eight-week session is a great fit for students who prefer a more fast-paced learning environment.”

The Spring B term will end May 5. New students who missed the start of Spring semester in January can register for B Term classes which begin mid-semester. Current students can pick up an extra class they need to stay on track to complete their degree or certificate.

“Spring B is also an opportunity for students to complete prerequisite courses they may need for their summer and fall coursework,” said Wiley.

The Spring B term schedule offers a wide range of classes in areas such as English, math, science and history that will be held online or during the day or evening at one of Clark State’s three campuses in Springfield, Beavercreek or Bellefontaine.

Enrollment for Spring B term will continue through next week. Interested students can apply online at www.clarkstate.edu or contact the Admissions Office at 937-328-6028 to get started.
