Clark State Community College’s EMS Technologies Paramedic Certification Program will hold its fall graduation ceremony on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 6 p.m. in the Brinkman Educational Center, 100 South Limestone Street, Springfield.
Dr. Amit Singh, vice president of academic affairs, Clark State Community College, will speak at the ceremony along with Tom Duffee, Clark State’s EMS program coordinator. Certificates will be presented to all of the graduates by Kathy Wilcox, dean of health, human and public services, Clark State.
The Paramedic Certification Program is offered at Clark State’s Bellefontaine and Springfield locations and provides quality education in advanced out-of-hospital emergency care. The curriculum consists of pre-hospital environment, preparatory skills, trauma and burns, medical emergencies, OB/GYN emergencies, behavioral emergencies and crisis intervention training. Upon completion, students will be eligible to take the National Registry Certification exam at the paramedic level.
