Clark State Registration Begins Monday for Summer, Fall 2015

March 13, 2015

As spring break draws to a close, it is time to start planning for the 2015 summer and fall semesters at Clark State Community College. Students currently enrolled and eligible for priority registration can begin registering for classes Monday, March 16. Open registration will begin Thursday, March 19.

Priority registration is traditionally reserved for students affiliated with Clark State’s Student Support Services and/or Accessibility, and students who have achieved a certain number of credit hours to ensure they stay on track for graduation. For the first time since Governor Kasich signed House Bill 488, United States veterans and active military will also have priority registration at Clark State.

“We want to ensure that our veterans and active military are not just welcomed, but incentivized to complete their degrees,” said Clark State President Dr. Jo Alice Blondin.

Military and veteran students must register in person and show a United States military identification, a driver’s license with an Armed Forces symbol, a current VA medical card or their military discharge papers when registering for classes. Clark State Registrar Diana Seaman said veterans and active military are able to register at campus locations in Springfield, Beavercreek and Bellefontaine. “Clark State has approximately 184 active servicemen and veterans currently enrolled,” said Seaman.
