Clark State Community College has bestowed honors on 45 students in various areas including Student Life (Phi Theta Kappa, Student Ambassadors, Student Senate, Physical Therapist Assistant Club), Work Study and Academic Programs.
Clark State’s annual Student Recognition Night which celebrates outstanding students, originally scheduled for April 15, was canceled due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Faculty, staff and student organization advisors nominated outstanding students in their programs.
“It is an honor to recognize our outstanding students for their performance and perseverance in their academic programs and their contributions to the College through engagement and leadership,” said Nina Wiley, dean of student engagement and support services at Clark State.
Students will receive the program normally distributed at the actual event which includes the student’s biography and photograph. In addition to the program, students will be sent a medallion to be worn at Commencement which has been rescheduled for August 15, 2020.
