Clark State to Hold Pinning Ceremonies for Fall 2018 Nursing Graduates

November 30, 2018

The Clark State Community College – Springfield Regional School of Nursing will hold pinning ceremonies for 99 graduating nurses who have completed their programs of study.

The pinning ceremony for the Practical Nursing students will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, December 6; 36 Practical Nursing students will be conferred at this ceremony. The pinning ceremony for Registered Nursing students will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, December 7; 63 Registered Nursing students will be conferred at this ceremony.
Both ceremonies will be held at the Clark State Performing Arts Center in downtown Springfield.

“The pinning ceremony provides us with the opportunity to welcome our December 2018 graduates to the nursing profession, and we are very pleased to recognize this graduating class,” said Gwen Stevenson, director of nursing programs for Clark State. “They have worked incredibly hard to arrive at this milestone, and we honor them as they move from the role of student nurse to professional nurse. They are well-prepared to enter the nursing profession and provide care to those in our community and beyond.”

The Registered Nursing program can be completed at Clark State’s Springfield and Beavercreek locations. The Practical Nursing program can be completed at Clark State’s Springfield campus as well as at the Bellefontaine location at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. Both nursing programs have daytime and evening/weekend enrollment options.
