Clark State Community College will hold women’s basketball try-outs at 7 p.m., Monday, September 23 in the gymnasium located at the Leffel Lane campus in Springfield.

Head Coach Jay Etter encourages all eligible female student-athletes to attend the open tryout; experience playing high school basketball or AAU league basketball is helpful, but not required.

“We would like to win the conference and represent our conference at nationals,” said Etter. “Our home opener is November 11. We even have a trip this season to Illinois to play two games.”

The Clark State women’s basketball season begins October 1 and runs until early March.

Eligible student-athletes must be enrolled as a full-time student for the fall 2019 semester to play on the Eagles women’s basketball team.
