Clark State to Offer Convenient Express Orientation for New Students

November 27, 2017

Clark State Community College will offer Express Orientation services for new students on November 30 at the Springfield campus on Leffel Lane and December 16 at the Greene Center at the Beavercreek campus.

“Express Orientation provides new students an opportunity to learn about the college's resources, career information and their academic requirements during a window of time that best fits their schedule,” said Ron Gordon, dean of enrollment services for Clark State.

Gordon said students will learn about campus resources, career information, academic requirements and meet with their success coach to select their classes based on their academic pursuits.

During Express Orientation, students can also apply for admission, receive assistance with financial aid (bring 2015 tax return), take placement tests and register for classes.

For the Leffel Lane campus, students should check-in at the Student Academic Support Center on the first floor of Rhodes Hall. For the Greene Center in Beavercreek, students can check-in at Student Services on the second floor.

“We are excited to offer this option of orientation for students who may not be able to meet the times we offer the traditional orientation,” said Gordon. “We want to ensure they won’t miss the onboarding experience at Clark State.”

New students can walk-in for Express Orientation or register in advance for quicker service. Visit the full schedule of Express Orientation dates and times and online registration.
