The Clark State Community College – Springfield Regional School of Nursing will hold pinning ceremonies for more than 70 graduating nurses who have completed their programs of study at the conclusion of fall semester. The pinning ceremony for registered nursing students will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at 6 p.m. at the Clark State Performing Arts Center. Fifty-one registered nursing students will be honored at this event.

The pinning ceremony for the practical nursing students will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016, at 6 p.m. at the Clark State Performing Arts Center. Twenty practical nursing students will be honored during this ceremony.

“We are very proud of our registered nursing graduates and commend them for their dedication and determination as they move from student nurse to professional nurse," said Gwen Stevenson, director of nursing programs for Clark State. "Additionally, we are excited for them as they begin a rewarding career focused on caring and helping others in their time of need.  We know they will be outstanding nurses and will contribute to our communities and healthcare organizations." 

The registered nursing program can be completed at Clark State’s Springfield campus. The practical nursing program can also be completed at Clark State’s Springfield campus as well as at the Bellefontaine campus at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. Both nursing programs have daytime and evening/weekend options enrollment options.
