Dayton Business Journal Honors Clark State as Outstanding Diversity Champion

September 23, 2021

Clark State College has been named a 2021 Outstanding Diversity Champion by the Dayton Business Journal.

The Dayton Business Journal award is part of its Diversity in Business Awards recognizing organizations that have contributed to harnessing diversity within their work forces and actively taking the lead to promote and champion the business case for diversity within the community or their industries.

“Clark State is deeply invested in the important work of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we view our work as grounded in our student-centered approach,” said Dr. Jo Alice Blondin, president of Clark State. “As a member college of Achieving the Dream, Clark State prioritizes proven strategies for closing achievement gaps among our students.”

Honorees will be recognized both online and in print on October 15, as well as at an awards event on October 14.
