Clark State Community College hosted the Ohio Board of Regents on Monday, July 29, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Clark State Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts and Conference Center, 275 South Limestone Street, Springfield.

Chancellor John Carey, who made his first visit to Clark State, presented an update on the Ohio Board of Regents and met with Jo Alice Blondin, Ph.D., Clark State's new president. Blondin began her tenure at Clark State on July 1, 2013.

Local partners also gave short presentations about how the community is working with Clark State to enhance student learning and success and promote workforce development in the region. Speakers included: Senator Chris Widener; Michael McDorman, president of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce; and Danis Heighton, Clark State professor.
