Jackson served at Clark State for nearly 30 years, and during his tenure, the College experienced growth in enrollment, facilities and academic and community outreach.

Multi Grammy-nominated group The Time Jumpers, featuring country music star Vince Gill, will make their debut at the Clark State Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 30. The Time Jumpers includes 10 members, each a master of his instrument. The Time Jumpers was established in Nashville in 1998 by an assemblage of high-dollar studio musicians who wanted to spend some spare time jamming with their sonically gifted buddies.

Clark State Community College has announced the names of students for the 2016 Fall Semester Dean's List. Two hundred thirty-five (235) full-time students (those taking 12 or more credit hours) and six hundred forty-two (642) part-time students (those taking 6-11 credit hours) earned a 3.5 grade point average or better to receive dean's list honors.

The graduates represent the first class of cadets to complete their training in the new facility located in the Brinkman Educational Center in downtown Springfield.

Students in manufacturing, computer IT, health and medical programs can apply for scholarships and will also have the opportunity to begin to work with industry partners in co-op and internship opportunities through the Dayton STEM-Workforce Program.

Clark State Community College will host a College Credit Plus (CCP) informational event for local high schools and students on Tuesday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts and Conference Center in downtown Springfield. The College Credit Plus program allows students to earn college credits while in high school, all at no cost. This state-funded program covers tuition, books and fees.
