Clark State Community College Board of Trustees will hold their September meeting at the Champaign Family YMCA in Urbana to commemorate the longstanding cooperative effort to bring education and wellness opportunities to students in Urbana and Champaign County. Clark State played a critical role in helping secure funds for the Champaign Family YMCA and is proud of its commitment to this part of its designated service area.

Clark State Will Host Free Cybersecurity Workshop for Community

Clark State Community College will offer a free Cybersecurity Workshop at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 24 in Room 136 of the LRC building on the Leffel Lane campus in Springfield. The workshop will expose ten practical ways to help protect personal computers, laptops or other electronic devices from intrusion by hackers.

Clark State’s Successful Tuition Challenge Program Continues

The Ohio Department of Higher Education has approved the continuation of Clark State Community College’s Tuition Challenge Program for another academic year. The program waives standard tuition rates to students who complete 12 or more credit hours in a semester, achieve a grade of C or better in each course and enroll in the successive semester for 12 or more credit hours.

Clark State to Offer ABLE and GED Courses at Springfield Campus this Fall

Clark State Community College will begin offering ABLE and GED preparatory courses on the Leffel Lane campus in Springfield this fall semester. The Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) and General Education Development (GED) courses are new to the Leffel Lane campus location and will be held in the Student Academic Success Center on the first floor of Rhodes Hall.

Clark State Announces Dean’s List for Summer Semester 2016

Clark State Community College has announced the names of students for the 2016 Summer Semester Dean's List. Twenty-four (24) full-time students and two hundred fifty-four (254) part-time students earned a 3.5 grade point average or better to receive dean's list honors.
