Culp Retires After 20 Years at Clark State

After more than 20 years at Clark State Community College, Kristin Culp will trade in her name badge for the key to her 1956 Ford. Culp, currently serving Clark State as the vice president of external affairs will enter into retirement on August 5 of this year.

Clark State Rolls Out Guaranteed Interview Program for Graduates

Students at Clark State Community College will now have the opportunity to interview for a job prior to graduation. The new Guaranteed Interview Program was proposed by Clark State President Dr. Jo Alice Blondin in April of this year. Currently, more than 30 local companies have committed to the Guaranteed Interview Program.

Project Jericho’s Summer Arts Camp Participants Create Unique Flower Baskets for Downtown Springfield

Project Jericho will be creating up to twelve hanging flower baskets that will be installed on light poles this summer around City Plaza in downtown Springfield. The baskets are unique because they won’t need watering, and they won’t cost the city any money. These unique flower baskets will be made out of recycled materials during Project Jericho’s Summer Arts Camp June 20-24.

Clark State Performing Arts Center Brings Entertainment, Enrichment to Community in 2016-17

The Clark State Performing Arts Center will feature more than a dozen performances during the 2016-17 season, which kicks off Friday, September 23 with a Club Kuss presentation of Shotgun Wedding. The Performing Arts Center is once again partnering with the Springfield Arts Council for the three Broadway performances featured this season, including: Rent, Once and Pippin. Tickets for the Performing Arts Center 2016-17 season events go on sale Monday, June 20, and are available at pac.clarkstate.edu.
